Alexandra van Nahuijs

Hi there,

I'm Alex, I'm 25 years old and my native language is Dutch. However, English have become a close second because I have lived in Canada for almost two years, I visit as much as possible and I speak English on a daily basis with my Canadian boyfriend.
I have been in the translation business for almost five years and since about 6 months I have found a steady client I work with a lot. Here I gain a lot of experience in different kinds of translations for example movies, tv-shows, stand-up comedy and documentaries. However, I have also translated and edited a thesis, sermons and texts for marketing purposes.
I did pursue a Bachelor of Translation, however, due to my financial situation at the time, I did not finish it. I currently have 174 EC's and am in the process of starting my final year soon to wrap it up.

I'm looking for some other jobs mostly to gain experience.
