Edward Drabovitch

I am Edward Drabovitch – an experienced product designer and engineer. Since the beginning of my journey as a designer I had genuine interest and passion for creating. I graduated in 2011 from the University of Technology in Eindhoven as MSc. Industrial Design of intelligent interactive products and systems. My background has a strong focus on interaction design and embedded engineering. I was always fascinated with technology possibilities because it adds life to tangible products.

Later on, my experience shifted more towards product materialization and engineering. Working for more than 6 years for various companies I was designing within different fields including consumer products, accessories, furniture, household appliances and mobility. Therefore, I have a broad range of skills around product development and realization. Turning ideas into reality is something that keeps me going. I enjoy the beauty of products in combined form aesthetics and functionality.

I approach every project with high enthusiasm and always start with a thorough analysis and planning. Within the design process, I have the ability to envision product ideas and see the complete picture. Imagination is my strongest point for creativity and problem solving. Along the way, I go through fast and extensive number of iterations using various CAD tools for 3d modelling, engineering, creating photo-realistic visualizations, testing using simulations of digital prototypes as well as using 3d printing for physical prototypes. This ensures that ideas and concepts go through the reality check and the fast-lane to the market.
