Over Gytha
Hello my name is Gytha and I am an artist based in the Netherlands, often abroad and travelling. From an early age, there was a particular interest in drawing, as I am very curious, sensitive and like to observe life. Inspired by movies, animation, storytelling and music, I went to the university of Maastricht, Maastricht Academy of Media Design and Technology; in 2017 I graduated with a bachelor of science.
I continued my journey building a company with my former partner focused on animation, data visualisation and storytelling from 2018-2022.
At the end of 2022 I started as a freelancer to focus on what I truly love, illustrating. Since then I gained some experience working on a few projects such as drawing for articles for the university, and cover design for music. In the near future I will work on illustrating a book.
