Over Mathieu
FREELANCE PHOTOGRAPHER BASED CURRENTLY IN AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS.
I was born in FRANCE, and ever since I was a young boy I can remember having a great appreciation for music, art, nature, and sport. Over the years, each subject has had a positive influence on my life. I have had the fortune of meeting many great musicians over the years because of photography: GZA (Wu Tang Clan), Phil Palmer (Guitarist of Eric Clapton, Iggy Pop, Bob Dylan…), Mathias Cassel (Assassin), Patrice and Jurassic 5, to name a few.
Before returning to Europe I had the privilege to live in South Africa for 2 years, and enjoyed the time I spent in Game Reserves, amongst the animals. Currently, I reside in Amsterdam, which is rich with music, art, culture, and magical with architecture.
