I have been working for more than 30 years as a Dutch-English translator. This has covered a wide variety of texts: annual reports and financial statements; economic, actuarial and statistical material; course documentation, user and system manuals; company brochures, contracts and business correspondence; and Dutch government reports, for example, from Belastingdienst and Autoriteit Financiële Markten.
Internationally, I have lived and worked in Switzerland, the Netherlands, the USA, the UK and Mexico. I now reside in Belgium.
My professional experience also includes corporate writing, editing and proofreading. Computer programming, systems analysis, insurance, actuarial science, and management, in Europe and North America, are part of my background as well.
