I am lifestyle journalist based in the Netherlands since 1997 when I moved here from New Jersey, USA. For more than a decade, I have written about a wide variety of subjects including gastronomy, wine, travel, family, art and culture for publications all over the world. Included in my list of clients are leading UK magazines such as Living France and France Magazine, airline magazines such as Eastern Airways France and b.Spirit (Brussels Airlines) and top Amsterdam tourist publications in the Netherlands such as HELLO Amsterdam. I have been a culinary/travel journalist for En Route magazine since 2014. I am also a regular contributor to the Dutch culinary journal Bouillon and was a recipe writer for one of the most popular Dutch women's weekly magazines, Vriendin.
Furthermore, I am editor-in-chief of the bi-monthly North American magazine DUTCH, a print publication that covers travel, art, culture, food and more. I also work as a translator (NL-ENG) for areas in my field of expertise.As a freelance journalist, I am accustomed to working with leading international publications and am very organised. Deadlines, accurate work and the production of engaging content accompanied by beautiful photography are my top priority.
