Wij zoeken naar een Business Analist - Customer voor 36 uur per week.
Background
The wants to accelerate by implementing: a flexible, scalable, efficient and cost-effective platform. The strategy for the Programme is to create this platform based on the global Target Operating Model to enforce standardisation in processes and products.
One of the domains is the customer domain, where all commercial banking clients are maintained. A work package has been defined which is responsible for maintaining a “master list” of Customers of interfaces and applications. This master list should only consist of the Customer data not yet available in the current Client Application system.
Main objective of the job
The Business Analyst's primary focus of work is functional related and includes contacts with the end- user and development community. The objective is to analyse the business environment (business rules and processes and translate there into business/customer/system requirements) and to write the Functional Design and Functional Test Specifications. These documents are the basis for the communication with the sponsor, future users, the development team and the test team.
Key Responsibility/Accountabilities
Analyses
- Assisting in gathering the needs and problems of the business
- Perform impact analysis to ensure that requirements (business/customer/system) can be met
- Analyzing, interpreting and translating the business requirements into viable solutions.
- Providing business support and advising on analysis and design to development team
- Estimates the impact of change in which the current IT systems could adapt to the analysed needs
- Analyses possibilities on their effectiveness and efficiency
- Formulates system requirements for the project and ensures understanding and integration of the business, customer and system requirements in the solution.
- Provides parts of business cases and documents of business processes
- Identifying of critical success factors, organizational and structural analysis
Design
- Translation of business, customer and system requirements into functional design for the customer Interfaces
- Providing business support and advising on analysis and design to development team
- Providing advice on the design of the interface from the client’s business perspective
- Estimating the amount of effort required for specific work packages based on function point analysis or other proven estimation techniques
- Providing business support and advice on quality management to the development team
Test and improvement
- Clarifying functional requirements and resolving implementation issues
- Estimate if established standards and techniques can be used for the unit, system and FAT testing
- Produce Functional Acceptance test cases and coordination of the tests (unit, System, FAT)
- Evaluates testing results and decides what actions should be taken in accordance to the tested IT processes or the business parties.
- Assists during user acceptance testing
Person Specification
Qualifications
- Bachelor (HBO/University) with a degree or further studies in Banking/Economics, IT or related subject.
Experience
- 4+ Years experience within an application development environment and with some awareness
- Infrastructure implications of application development
- Experience of all phases of the development lifecycle e.g. analysis, design and testing
- Experience in the financial services industry,
- Experience in assisting business units to define business requirements, Rup/Agile experience
- Experience leading and working with individuals and teams from diverse cultures
Business/Commercial Knowledge
- Strong background in customer domains. (Preferable commercial banking)
- Broad understanding of the wholesale banking sector and current trends
- Knowledge of the Banking business and products
- In-depth understanding of Commercial Lending and Structured Finance
IT Skills
- Competent in the use of Visio, Excel and Word
- Working knowledge of industry standard tools (such as CaliberTM for requirement management and Test Director for defect management)
- Broad understanding of concepts and complexities of implementing third party packages
- LoanIQ knowledge strong preference (or e.g. similar applications such as ACBS)
- Knowledge of Java, Oracle and working with API’s
- Understanding of Tibco (preferred)
- Understanding of CMMI
