We are currently seeking a contractor (March 2025 - August 2025) to actively manage the project of relocating our Distribution Center operations in the Roosendaal area. The contractor will lead the relocation workstream and work in close collaboration with logistics engineering and local management as well as other global functions.
Key responsibilities
• Lead the Relocation workstream of the program undertaking whatever activity is needed for a successful move
• Perform project management activities for delivery of the Relocation workstream including maintaining schedule, risks, dependencies, etc.
• Develop & execute the relocation plan
• Review quotations from suppliers of relocation services, compare, make recommendations and coordinate agreements/contracts
• Collaborate with Logistics engineering to implement the engineering move strategy/plan
• Lead revision/creation of Warehouse procedures (SOPs, WIs)
• Coordinate with subject matter experts to develop training content and have training delivered
• Collaborate with other work streams like Quality & HSE to complete required deliverables
• Provide support to Office & Warehouse supervisors for implementing TMS
Qualifications:
• Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics Management, or related disciplines
• 5+ years of relevant experience (warehousing/logistics) required
• Project management experience strongly preferred
• Self-motivated, dependable, mature, ‘can-do’ attitude, able to work with minimal supervision
• Sense of urgency for objectives and timelines, while maintaining flexibility to shifting priorities
• Resourceful with Drive to take on tasks & deliver outcomes – finding ways through issues/hurdles. Mentality to do whatever is needed without being constrained by job scope
• Team player with excellent inter-personal skills with ability to collaborate with a wide range of people
• Analytical and meticulous with good follow up skills
• Ability and willingness to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in SAP and TMS preferred
