THE ROLE
As a Senior Mechanical Designer, you will play a crucial role in the product development process by leading the design and development of our products. Leveraging your extensive experience and technical expertise, you will contribute to the innovation and optimization of mechanical designs, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality, reliability, and manufacturability.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in mechanical design, with a focus on complex systems and large outdoor machines processing powders and bulk materials handling (silos, hoppers, powder/material dryers, solid to fluid heat exchangers, low attrition powder transportation, powder mixing, chemical reactors utilizing solids, steel constructions, large industrial equipment)
? Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field; advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) is a plus.
? Demonstrated ability to design experience in developing innovative solutions for cost-efficient and reliable mechanical systems.
? Proficiency in 3D modeling software, such as Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
? Experience with vacuum and/or steam nice to have

? Conceptualization and Innovation of a large machine dedicated to CO2 air capture

? Design for prototyping and fast execution to enable quick verification of ideas

? Creating production documentation and compliance with machine directive and safety standards applicable in EU as well as globally
