Contract/Freelance Designers - Amsterdam

We are a studio that is expanding its team of contract designers in Europe. We are seeking highly accountable freelance designers who use drawing, thinking, and an endless supply of creativity to reliably deliver dazzling, world-class design solutions.

As a qualified candidate, you’ll love visual communications and use your drawing skills to quickly and clearly present your ideas. You understand how design, graphics and technology work together and have a portfolio of award-winning print, multimedia and interactive projects to prove it.

You are naturally curious and think on your feet to comprehend complex business and technology issues while quickly discerning a client’s needs and underlying values. You genuinely enjoy working with colleagues and clients to turn good ideas into great solutions and know how to bring these ideas to life in presentation.

You are hands-on, with a keen eye for detail and the organizational skills to deliver on-time and on-budget. You’re also open-minded, deadline-oriented, cheerful, and hard-working.

In return, we offer a design experience unlike any other. You’ll work along side some of the pioneers in visual thinking, with some of the biggest and brightest clients in a growing international office, with the potential for travel, and more fun than you’d expect from information design. Really.

Minimum qualifications:

• You live in Amsterdam or in the immediate vicinity.

• You read, write and speak English fluently.

• You have a degree in Visual Communications or Fine Arts
and/or at least 4 yrs. experience in a design studio environment or
equivalent.

• You have mastered Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and iWork - for motion, interactive, audio, video and print. Flash and After Effects experience are a plus.
